Calendar

The Village grounds are open dawn to dusk seven days a week unless closed for a wedding.

Each Thursday, the local newspaper is published and carries a listing of our activities for the upcoming week, including the weekend weddings. To view our schedule of weddings for the upcoming weekend, please visit the Community Calendar section of the online Northville Record. The monthly calendar of events and weddings is also posted by the front door of the Cady Inn.

Mill Race Village is open on Sundays, mid-June to mid-October, from 1:00pm - 4:00pm and for Special Events.

During the spring/summer/fall season, all Village buildings are open each Sunday with Docents on hand to share the history of each building.

(Cady Inn, J.M. Mead Store, Hirsch Blacksmith Shop, Wash Oak School, Hunter House, New School Church, Yerkes House, The Cottage House, and The Interurban Station)

From fashion plates, to Betsy McCall, to paper with scissors, paper dolls have always been an American favorite. Come see lots of early examples and, of course, make strings and strings of our own.

Huck is back to make a new raft with a different design. Once the rafts are done we’ll head down
to the river to try them out. We’ll learn a thing or two about Huck along the way.

C.E.R.T. Training
In the event of an emergency or disaster that overwhelms local response capability, CERT members can apply the training learned in the classroom and during exercises to give critical support to their family, loved ones, neighbors or associates in their immediate area until help arrives. The Northville Township Police Department is currently conducting training. Please visit their website for more information.
